The Terrace on the James restaurant is located on the 8th floor of the Bank of the James Building in historic downtown Lynchburg, Virginia. We are under new ownership and management of Bear Foot Enterprises in order to ensure you the best experience when dining downtown.

At Terrace on the James we offer spectacular panoramic views of the James River fountain and historic downtown Lynchburg. Our affordable daily menu has a variety of hot and cold sandwiches, desserts, and a café style lunch hot bar with entrees, vegetables, and a full service salad bar with homemade soups and chili. We also offer full catering services from formal sit down dinners or lunches to casual take out or delivery with or without set up by our experienced staff.
